ARRIVAL INSTRUCTIONS

CHECK-IN STARTS AFTER 4:00 PM

  • On the day of your arrival, before noon, you will receive a welcome message with both access codes valid for the duration of your stay. The first code is for entering the building and must be dialed on the intercom at the front of the building and the second code is for opening the door of your unit. Access codes are valid from 4 p.m., check-in time, until 11 a.m. on the day of your departure. To this end, you will find the departure instructions further down this page.

  • The welcome message includes several pieces of information such as codes to connect to the WIFI and the best ways to communicate with our team. In the apartment itself, you will find a poster with additional information.

  • Don't forget to check out the Plan your stay in Quebec City section in the confirmation message to familiarize yourself with the exclusive offers put in place by our partners for you to enjoy during your stay with us!

DEPARTURE INSTRUCTIONS

CHECK-OUT MUST BE COMPLETED BEFORE 11:00 AM

  • Group dirty towels together in the shower or bath.

  • Dispose of your waste in sealed bags in the chute located in the trash area available near the elevator. Follow the signs in the hallway.

  • Empty the recycling bin into the blue bins in this same space.

  • Disconnect your accounts on television (netflix, prime, etc.)

  • Start the dishwasher before leaving if it has not yet been cleaned and/or emptied.

  • If in operation, reset the air conditioning to 23 degrees.

  • Close the apartment windows if you have opened them.

  • Turn off the lights in the apartment.

  • Lock the door after you leave by pressing the padlock at the bottom right of the smart lock.

CONDITIONS & PENALTIES

ESSENTIAL CONDITIONS

By making a reservation at 77 St-Vallier | Apparts-Hotel, the guest confirms having read, understood, and accepted all of the following conditions.

  • Minimum age: 25 years old. A valid government-issued ID may be required prior to arrival.

  • Check-in: From 4:00 p.m. | Check-out: Before 11:00 a.m.
    Additional fees apply for late departures.

  • Access to the apartment is strictly limited to the occupants registered under the reservation. Any additional or unregistered guest will result in a fee of $40 per person, per night.

  • Sharing the access code is strictly prohibited, including for delivery purposes.

  • No parties, gatherings, or disturbances are permitted.

  • No pets. No illegal or commercial activities.

  • Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the building (including tobacco, vaping, or any other substances). Guests must remain at least 9 meters (30 feet) from the main entrances.

  • Bicycles are not permitted inside apartments or common areas. Secure storage is available for a fee.

  • A $500 security deposit will be pre-authorized upon arrival. Access codes will not be provided without the deposit.

  • Any violation of these rules may result in additional fees, a penalty of up to $500, eviction, and cancellation of the stay without refund.

  • The person making the reservation is responsible for all occupants associated with the booking.

  • No compensation will be granted for service interruptions beyond our control (power outage, internet disruption, water supply issues, weather conditions, etc.).

PENALTIES AND NON-COMPLIANCE WITH RULES

Failure to comply with any of the establishment’s rules may result, without prior notice, in:

  • A penalty of up to $500;

  • Additional charges when the condition of the unit requires deep cleaning beyond standard housekeeping, including but not limited to smoke odors, unauthorized guests, breakage, theft, or damages;

  • Immediate termination of the stay, eviction of occupants, and cancellation of the reservation without refund, depending on the severity of the situation.

The establishment reserves the right to document any violation or damage through photos, videos, or internal reports for validation and billing purposes.

 

Any guest who is evicted forfeits the right to make future reservations or accompany other guests at the property.Any reservation associated with their presence may be canceled without refund.

RESPONSIBILITY OF THE BOOKING HOLDER, ACCESS TO THE UNIT AND OCCUPANTS

The person making the reservation is fully responsible for the behavior, actions, and omissions of all occupants and visitors associated with the booking, as well as for any damages or charges incurred.

The minimum age required to make a reservation is 25 years old. A valid government-issued ID may be required prior to arrival. If you are under 25 years of age, please contact us before making a reservation.

Access to the apartment is guaranteed starting at 4:00 p.m. Check-out must be completed no later than 11:00 a.m.


Any late departure will result in additional fees as follows:

  • $20 for the first 30 minutes;

  • $50 for each additional 30-minute period.

Access to the unit is strictly limited to the occupants declared at the time of booking. The number of occupants must match the reservation at all times, and the same occupants must remain for the entire duration of the stay. Any unauthorized additional or different person will result in a fee of $40 per person, per night, charged to the credit card on file.

It is strictly prohibited to:

  • Share the access code with individuals not listed on the reservation;

  • Share the access code for delivery purposes or any other service;

  • Allow third parties access to the unit or building.

HOUSE RULES

In order to ensure a safe, quiet, and respectful environment:

  • No parties, gatherings, or events are permitted. Quiet enjoyment must be respected at all times.

  • No pets are allowed in the building.

  • Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the building (including tobacco, vaping, or any other substances). Smoking is only permitted at least 9 meters (30 feet) away from the entrance.

  • Any illegal or commercial activity is strictly prohibited within the premises.

  • Bicycles are not permitted inside apartments or common areas. Secure storage may be available upon request (additional fees may apply).

  • For everyone’s safety, allowing unauthorized individuals into the building is strictly prohibited. Occupants must ensure that entrance doors remain properly secured at all times.

CANCELATION POLICIES

CANCELLATION POLICY – Flexible Rate

  • 5 days or more before arrival: Free cancellation.

  • Less than 5 days before arrival: Refund equivalent to 50% of the stay charges.

  • Less than 24 hours before arrival: No refund. Please contact us to discuss your situation.

CANCELLATION POLICY – Non-Refundable Rate

Applicable to non-refundable rates

  • Non-exchangeable, non-refundable, and non-cancellable, regardless of the reason for cancellation.

  • The full amount of the stay is charged upon receipt of the reservation.

SECURITY DEPOSIT

  • A $500 security deposit will be pre-authorized on the credit card within 24 hours prior to arrival. Without this deposit, access codes will not be provided.

  • The deposit will be released within 24 to 48 hours after departure, following inspection of the premises, provided that the establishment’s rules have been respected. If any damage has occurred, charges equivalent to the cost of repairs or replacement of damaged items will be applied to the card on file.

  • The release timeframe of the deposit depends solely on financial institutions and is beyond our control.

  • We may contact you to request the addition of a credit card to your reservation. The card can be added through a secure link sent by text message or email, or by phone if you prefer that option.

LIABILITY AND LIMITATIONS

MODIFICATION OR REDUCTION OF STAY

Different policies and conditions may apply to promotional rates and to reservations made through third-party platforms (Airbnb, Booking.com, etc.).

Any modification or reduction of the stay must be made before the start of the cancellation period applicable to the reservation.

FORCE MAJEURE AND SERVICE INTERRUPTIONS

The establishment cannot be held responsible for service interruptions or limitations resulting from circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to:

  • power outages;

  • internet or telecommunications interruptions or failures;

  • water supply interruptions;

  • municipal construction work;

  • extreme weather conditions;

  • any other event constituting a case of force majeure.

No compensation, rate reduction, or refund may be claimed for such situations.

  • Our establishment has access to a few parking spaces available for rent via a private link provided in the reservation confirmation email. The indoor parking lot is located a few steps from our establishment. First reserved, first served.

  • We recommend using the PARKOPEDIA app to find the best spot for you.

  • Street parking is available weekdays from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 a.m. and anytime on weekends. Carefully read street signs; some areas are closed at all times, while others have restrictions.

  • In winter, always check if streetlights are flashing red during or after a snowstorm. If they are flashing red, a snow removal operation is underway and street parking is prohibited.
